The 2024 Campaign is already being discussed as the most anticipated political event in recent history. With just a few months until the next presidential election, speculation is already rife about who will win and what direction the country will take in the years ahead.

Although many candidates tried to win states over to secure their position as the Republican nominee for president, as of March 12, we will officially have a presidential rematch between Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

The most important event of campaign 2024 is Trump v. Biden: The Rematch - as they both will employ their best strategies for securing states to win the presidential election. Who can forget  2021, when Trump, who had lost his bid to remain president, encouraged his followers to attack the U.S. Capitol on January 6?  You would think that this would disqualify, or at least weaken Trump’s support,  but as Election 2024 is coming, Trump has won 1,265 delegates, surpassing the 1,215 needed to become the winner of the Republican nominee. On the Democratic side, incumbent Joe Biden easily secured the nomination surpassing the 1, 968 delegates needed by 133 extra.

Trump's campaign hasn’t been working in some states that wanted to remove Trump from their ballots because he was a part of the attack on the Capitol and lawsuits. However, the removal of the presidential candidate would be time-consuming and difficult as Shirley Weber wrote, “While we can agree that the attack on the Capitol and the former President’s involvement was abhorrent, there are complex legal issues surrounding this matter.”  Colorado, among a few other states also unsuccessfully removed Trump from the ballot, thus making it possible for Trump to be the nominee again.

Trump has had strategic plans since 2023, waiting for the chance to become president again. Trump has plans, to create laws to make this country “great again”. One of those laws is an immigration law. That overwhelms immigrant-rights lawyers, so he can limit the number of immigrants coming to the country as he feels it’s “poisoning the blood of our country.” While he continues creating laws to prevent immigrants from coming, he also plans to create a major change in economy and trade. By having the country become more self-contained, it would have a big impact on jobs, prices, and global alliances, while raising the risk of igniting a global trade war.

Let's discuss Biden’s strategy for his reelection campaign as president. Despite Biden having a lot of work to fulfill his promise to heal the “soul of the nation”, he continues his efforts from his 2020 campaign and wants more time to finish what he wants to accomplish. Biden showed a preview of how he plans to navigate the dual roles of president and presidential candidate by using the recent State of the Union speech to encourage trade union members to see what he has accomplished and how determined he is on his job. Biden promised to restore and strengthen America by strengthening the U.S. national security workforce, rebuilding global democratic alliances, championing America’s values and human rights, and equalizing the middle class to succeed in a global economy. However, some want Biden to not be reelected since they believe he failed to keep his promises.

The presidential election promises to be intriguing and entertaining, keeping anyone paying attention on the edge of their seats, ready to see who will emerge victorious. Will Trump face defeat again, or will he succeed in securing a second term in office? The nation is waiting for those answers to be revealed.
