If you’re lacking in friends, you can just talk to Jayden Trigueros, a super reliable, determined, and business-fanatic type of guy.

You all may have seen him once buying out all the products at school fundraisers, the hallways, or you may have just seen him get asked out to prom. (A girl asking a guy out to prom, crazy right??) If you try talking to Jayden, he might lecture you on how working hard gives you a better outcome and pushes you to be the best version of yourself. It’s almost as if I were describing Winchell!

Jayden is super visible on campus and is “known” by everyone, but most don’t know who he really is and what makes him tick. He is a person you can call up and he’ll be there for you. He is always motivated to be a better version of himself and he wants the same for the people around him.

When I asked him who keeps him motivated and inspired, he said, “My grandpa. He not only wants us to be great but knowing he owns his business inspires me. My mom too, has a successful business going and I'm proud of her. My dad gave me all my social skills and inspires me a lot. Those are my 3 heroes'.' He is very big on being family-oriented. Jayden tries to always “set an example” for his little brother and his peers. When I spoke to Jayden, it was evident that his family is what drives him to be the person he is today, whether it's his character traits or his wanting a future livelihood of owning a “successful business.” He even said he’d write an article for The Neuwirth Times about “how hard work and determination can lead to success” in hopes “to open people's eyes that if they put in the work, they'll eventually achieve their goals.”

As you see frequently, Jayden also has a sale of sweets every week or two, and it seems the students and teachers love them. As a curious journalist, I asked him how it all started. He first clarified that it is his mom’s business and he simply helps with sales and advertisement here at our school, he said, “She sells a lot of treats like chocolate covered strawberries, churro cheesecakes, and cake jars”, and “coming soon as the days get hotter, fresas con crema (strawberries with cream).” He says his mom is the “mastermind behind it” but he does give himself and his brother the credit for expanding the market and increasing sales, saying it's a “team effort.”

If you’d like to know more about Jayden outside of school and business, just talk to him. Jayden tends to be a very talkative, interesting, and open person. But if you need help getting his attention make a reference or connection to his favorite movie The Wolf On Wall Street or ask him about the life-changing lineup he gave himself as a child.

If you’d like to make an order for future sales, you can talk to Jayden or you can DM (Direct Message) his mom LA NIÑA FRESA (@creations_lizzeth_1988)   on Instagram.
