Speaking of feedback, Playboi Carti’s freind, rapper and controversial figure Kanye West, has gone on the social media platform X to voice his anger with Carti, accusing him of asking for a song feature and not getting it, so he went to Kanye’s daughter, North West, and asked her for a song feature behind Kanye’s back. Carti did take his time to respond, but not with an apology or defending himself. he just replied with “YE STFU.”
When I asked Joel Crisostomo (11), one of the biggest fans of Playboi Carti, about the fallout between Carti and Kanye, he said that he feels like “Kanye is just trying to regain attention after saying a bunch of things online by trying to strike beef with one of his friends.“ He went on to say that the album was a “30/30 best album of the year I pray every night that Carti drops another album.”
So where is Carti now, and what can we expect next? Since he just dropped an album, many fans believe that he is going to disappear for years again and then drop music sometime after the Trump presidency, probably.
